This paper focuses on the derivation of recurrence relations for both single and product moments of generalized order statistics derived from the Phani distribution. Special attention is given to order statistics and records as specific cases. Additionally, the characterization of the Phani distribution is achieved by utilizing recurrence relations for single and product moments.
